“How do I dress for my body shape?” This is one of the most frequently asked questions I get as a Personal Stylist. And rightfully so, as dressing our body is one of the ways we express our style and personality.
We all come in different shapes and sizes; some are pear shaped, others athletic; some are top heavy and others more hourglass; some have short torsos, others have long legs.
Understanding a client’s body shape is an important stylist tool in curating a personalised and fabulous wardrobe. It is all about using clothes to create a proportioned silhouette to achieve the most flattering fit.
