3 C’s of Dressing for #WFH
With the chancellor’s budget announcement last month, it looks like most of us will be working from home until September at the earliest.
Here are 3C’s of styling to consider when dress for working from home:
Colour. Comfort. Confidence!
Colour! Styling always starts with Colour. I love wearing happy cheery and uplifting colours and I encourage my clients to embrace colour too. God knows we need it with over a year in this pandemic.
Comfort is all about the cut and texture of the fabric. Breathable natural fabrics like wool, cotton, cashmere and silk are great, especially if you perspire a lot. I also ensure the clothes I select for myself and clients flatter the body shape. So, I feel super comfortable wearing it from morning to night and my clients do too.
Confidence! It starts and ends with confidence for me and I try to impart that in my clients too. It’s so important to adorn our bodies in clothes that enable us to exude confidence inside out. If it doesn’t make me feel good, I won’t wear it and certainly won’t select it for my clients either. Confidence is everything!
I’ve spent hours Online Styling clients for their working-from-home clothes and thankfully they are not joggers or leggings.
So, the next time you are thinking of what to buy or wear working from home, remember the 3’Cs:
Colour. Comfort. Confidence!
